Another place I know, I used to live not that far from Kingston and if you know what to look for you can still see the traces of many of the old railroad right of ways, and yards.

I love how the one on the right appears brand new, or is it dirt and grime making it seem not as faded and tattered as the other two?

Maybe its the detritus but I cant see any places where partitions would have been between the toilets. Was this common in hospitals like this as a safety or security precaution?

I am almost afraid to even wonder what happened that they had to make up new procedures for loading or removing bodies. Part of me, the part that is addicted to Stephen King wonders if one went missing on its own or with help.

Google Street view shows at least the front of the building covered with scaffolding for work and plenty of trucks around, happy for once to see a place coming back to life.

If I knew you were in the area again I would have invited you for a cup of coffee in thanks for all the wonderful pictures you have posted over the years. Yes I realize this set is from 7 years ago.

Another great local place, that I hope to get to see first hand once the tours start up again this year.

Part of my wonders if that is where stairwells are and just to keep people from going out, from other pictures I have seen from here most of the floors are gone so no easy access to the other windows. Pure speculation on my part though.

Not sure but perhaps the black was a fast way to cut the light then bring it back, I know some of those bulbs had a time frame between being on, off , and back on again.

What is that on the left wall, almost looking like scaffolding but nothing connecting to the ground.

According to other sites this was just another camp house on the property.

Another one of the many places in a 2 hour drive from me.

I would give almost anything to have had windows like that in my house, preferably in a library room, to sit down and either just watch out the windows or use the light to read.

Damn compared to the shots of the front and if those signs were not on the building I would have bet it was different places.
