Trapped in 1980

The tall, slender Wurlitzer building gleamed in the pre-dawn hours of Detroit from the lit and inhabited structures around it. A pitch black alley, as cliché of an image you can muster up, provided our ingress. As we disappeared into the shadows, an army of rats scurried into the holes of the buildings and under the dumpsters in a cacophony of squeaking. The rusty fire escape back there seemed to be hanging on by a thread, swinging quite a bit, but somehow managed to hold us up as we jumped into the dark skyscraper and peer into the blackness, revealing a world left behind some 25 years ago...
