I wish we would hear from PRW... Can someone contact him?
I remember running from the cops here at night after a group of friends visited this place. It was quite eerie and felt haunted. Thugs also hung out there and shot at our group when they heard us coming. The cops also told us that there were multiple gang rapes that occurred there. They noted our names and told us never to return. The rush was unforgettable.
@ Snite - I know of that drive in. It's on Rt. 32 I believe on the top of this mountain almost. I always thought what a neat place for a drive in. Glad to see it's still there. Every time I went by I wanted to stop but I was driving a truck and working at the time so I couldn't. Now I should make it a point to get there before it closes, hopefully it never will!

Hi. I am a filmmaker making a documentary about one of the former residents of Hogan, one of the Mentally Retarded wing. I'd love to use a few of your photographs that show what this place looked like, how this and other buildings became abandoned, and to show the changes regarding the Mentally Retarded. Could you contact me at Judy@connectyourstories.com
Thanks! Love your work.

If only I had the thought to take photos of the defunct autopsy theater in the basement of Cook County Hospital in Chicago. It was just amazing.

The visitors were pick-nicking and burning big purple gothic candles and then poured some melted wax...? ? ?
