This building must have been amazing when it had floors in it.
I think we are looking at about 6 storeys here? Amazing.
The entire building looks like it is made of red brick coated with concrete. What an immense job!!!
Another gallery, yea! This is a gorgeous photo.
The work that went into building this place would be astronomical.Sad
This is so depressing

3. Sugars (including alcohol)
4. Salt

Thank you too Motts for that one! I never heard of it somehow until now. It will renew my enjoyment of your old galleries, as i can imagine what they might have created had they stepped in the many cool places you shot :) 99rooms images were from East Berlin Germany. This might be the developer's website. http://www.rostlaub.com/

Enjoyed your efforts,I have always been drawn to sites of beauty,or interest left, abandoned,.throw away architecture, and "haunted" by the question of why, especially some of these homes that appear to have had the people simply walk out the door. Will be a reguar on your site thank you for being allwed to participate.

I wonder if any elements of this site can or will be saved? Although with the sad aura surrounding these places the developers might just want to bulldoze everything (oh wait, they do that everywhere) it seems a shame to lose these beautifully crafted details.

Any way you look at it, war is hell.
