Very interesting... The "face* is indeed a reflection, not a spectre. Some pics of UFOs that have been taken from inside a well-lit room very close to a window (lens being like less than 1' away) are sometimes merely reflections from the lights in the room. (but not all)
Looks like a secure storage room... Probably a drug room... The dial in the middle seems to support this. Need more concrete info, but drug room might be right...
Wow... This particular shot is cool, looking a little like the aftermath of a combat engagement or a bombing run... Still quite interesting and nicely composited nonetheless...
Quite...um...bizarre indeed... The photo at the very top is a model of a grand stadium Hitler was wanting to be built had they won the war... In fact, they wouldn't lasted too long as much of Hitler wanted to build would have bankrupted them 60 times over.
Now this one really is just perfection. Composition, angle, lighting... Oh my! If they ever wanted to redo Dark Shadows... Or like a good follow-up to the events depicted in 1966-1971 when the show aired, this would make a heckuva opening shot-type image...
Woah... Just a real stark shot... Like nature reclaiming what needs to be reclaimed. No humans, nature gets to take it back... Like what we took to create it from nature, it will eventually reclaim for its own.
It makes me so happy whenever I see one of the buildings you've photographed has been rehabilitated. Honestly, these buildings all feel like they've got their own sort of spirit now, and a story to tell. Alive in the way that only really old structures can be.
It makes me really happy when that's not just knocked down, but instead given another life and a new story to tell, hopefully for someone else in the far future to find and document!
(Though, I do understand why a lot of buildings are knocked down. Safety and such is really important, but it's still kinda sad to see em go.)
This amazing historic building is not an abandoned building. This building is currently in the process of redevelopment. This building holds incredible history. I would not advice trespassing, the police will be contacted right away. If interested however you can contact them at their website. https://www.wheatleyprovident.com/
I've lived in Warwick my entire life, I remember going to rocky point as a kid. When I was a teenager I would sneak into the abandoned park, it was really cool to see before it was completely demolished, as well as "the cottages" great memories. Park is now open to public, but thats all it is, a park with fishing peir, very void and eerie. Some structures still remain, like sky line polls, arch, and structure where the swings were, blue concrete outline of salt water pool. Back to it's natural state.
I really like these type shots!!! It looks like a trillionth of a second after a high nuclear airburst... But is also a nice place to sit and whittle away the sweet day with a glass of tea, whisky or beer... Really excellent!!!
The use of green makes this one truly stand out. Very well done!!! Of course it looks like its glowing with radioactivity... Still quite the perfect opening shot!!!
