This was actually just an enclosure for outings and pick nick tables... part of an old beer garden. that was at the time the park closed. it may have been for the carousel before they moved Kiddie Land to make room for the Corkscrew Roller Coaster

The man killed on the Skyliner was my uncle. His name was Eddie Walker and it was September 2nd 1970. My entire family worked there.

I visited rocky point recently!! All that remains is the control platform for the "skyliner" ride......the towers......and the arch which still stands at the southern most part of the park!! And the blue cement from the salt water pool is also visable!! It's sad to see such a void where so much once stood.....and for so long! We all have our memories!! I certainly have my share!!
