Now this one really is just perfection. Composition, angle, lighting... Oh my! If they ever wanted to redo Dark Shadows... Or like a good follow-up to the events depicted in 1966-1971 when the show aired, this would make a heckuva opening shot-type image...

Woah... Just a real stark shot... Like nature reclaiming what needs to be reclaimed. No humans, nature gets to take it back... Like what we took to create it from nature, it will eventually reclaim for its own.

Those pillars - precious. The floor is so swept clean.
Incredible pictures of an incredible building! I tried to copy/paste the ironwork pictures, but saved the links instead - hoping they will be valid for awhile. I'm a blacksmith and got some project inspiration from some of the railings. I spent a lot of time in Germany in the past, wish I had known about this hospital so I could have seen it. Great pictures!
A BATHROOM?
My goodness - must have been so icy cold in the winter.
Look at those hinges. Strong.
Tiles stay.
What a chimney!
Fantastic brick-work!
Old-school.
Magical.
It is a fairy tale!
Your pictures are so sharp.
The leaves to the very right look like birds.
