This photo breaks my heart. This carousel was beautiful!! I can still hear the happy tunes blasting from it's band organ in my mind.

I remember when they were auctioned off it's wooden animals. (I think it was Sotherby's NY that had the auction). I knew the demise of the park was not far behind.

Yeah i check out dumpsters from all sorts of places if the dumpster isnt guarded anyway. More than once ive been told i cant take something out of one "because its just not allowed"

I heard the round buildings were for patients that heard voices and back then they thought that the voices were coming from the cracks of the walls. I don't know if this is true. These pictures are awsome.I use to pass this place every friday on my trip out east, and i always wanted to go there, and now it's knocked down and its to late, is there anything left does anyone know?
