places were negative things happend the negativity can stay in the air and you can feel it but does not always mean paranormal. but there is credible sightings including the so called ghost filmed on top of cane hill asylum uk on youtube.

back in the old days mental illness or TB sufferers were considered scum of society (of course they are not) but even back in the 1800s there were people fighting for the rights for people who could not fight for themselves.

we had an ect room at the hospital i just left but all the doctors there rufused to use ect on patients (or clients as they liked to call them) so it remained empty.

i went to rocky point for the first time on a 7th grade field trip, and instantly fell in love with it!!! i lived in hanson, mass. at the time, but, once i got my license in 1987, i made the trip to warwick several times a summer / fall until it closed. i saw many great bands there- michael morales... one hit wonder with the song"who do you give your love to" and the divinyls... "i touch myself"; my friend and i stayed late after that show, and went on all the rides with the band... hot lead singer!!! great memories!!!! wish my girls could have seen the place!!!!

More than likely it was just a bunch of idiotic kids goofing around.

is there any chance that this might be the observation room for the seclusion room? or like John mentioned above, a hallyway with an observation panel in it?

I feel like Lynne, reminding us all that the place our minds go to first is usually the most horrible one, and not always the "real" one.

which is in no way meant to belittle or negate the stories of abuse and mistreatment that come out of any such institution (whether it be a state hospital, a VA hospital, a nursing home or a private institution).
