This being Holy Week 2021, I was remembering the Solemn Ceremonies that occured during that time back in 1958 when I was an Altar Boy at Transfiguration and I came across this site. I was taught by Rev. J. Kavanagh who wrote the book for Altar Boys in 1955. To remember all of the beautiful ceremonies that took place in that glorious church. There was also an enclosed stone walkway from the rectory to the church that we would line up in before the procession into the church. It is so sad that it was not saved and taken care of for all these years.
The images & the music make it a wonderful watch & a good telling of her history. Shows how much the grand ole gal has gone through over the years. Yet, she still stands. Tough ole gal she is too.
Not too long ago I explored a University Hospital in the City. A filing cabinet sitting open contained Index cards with student's personal information, including Social Security numbers. We come to think that the internet is most dangerous for personal info, but every so often I come across things like these that scare me even more.
