...YES... a lamp in a metal cage - can´t believe what am seeing: to good to be true. Asylum Lamp ordered.....
Old, probably - that is what they decorated with, back in the days - at least a pretty lamp to look up at, in the seclusion misery on a bolted down bed.........

Beautiful! So much in this park that should have been salvaged for something!
This is what my bed looks like when I realize it's time to change the sheets!
..is that really a formidable little round light fixture hanging on up there? Awesome
Net Transom.
some have....some have not....weird event....
No doors...only hinges. Best part: we will never know how/why! FTW pondering.!

Incredible is just the firs word
-The Old picture; bedded down patients sick, uniformed nurse at attention, could not possibly have had a violent behavior in a room furnished like that. Impossible! Beds are close together so it IS crowded - but fierce & furious: no. It actually looks cozy how the curtain is drawn to block out bright light.
...yes...it is sealed...and safe, and am actually quite pleased with the CDW Services sign, fence and all - although it says nothing `yet´ on their page about what will be done - (but they do quite amazing work) - so for this building it is hopeful.

Outstanding!!
Thinking about lamps, and staring at the at least ten light fittings, all lined up and so close together, and wondering if this yellow hallway had those pretty opaque globes. If; a very bright happy sunny corridor.

Pat, just for clarity is the ball room the Music Room? I'd imagine there may had been some sound proofing involved, the size of that room probably required stronger materials and different architectural techniques. The music hall is something like... 70% of the east wing of the parlor floor.

Also do you know if the basement and sub basement for the primary building and the dining hall ( not including turret building ) where the same shape and size of the upper floors? If you could give a vague description of the shape and size it could help :3
Anyone know it's most recent status? it's 2014 now and I'm considering going.
