I can't believe the excuses people used for locking up their relatives & children. And how easy it was to do. On the other hand, to create large facilities that were architecturally stunning and self supporting including electricity and food... pretty impressive.

I'll bet there are many others who have learned much about history via inspiration from your art. Thanks for what you do.

Motts, thank you as always for sharing with us. Beautiful shots. Sadly forgotten by future loved ones, but we probably will be as well. So few know where their previous family members are interred much less who they really were - prior to their grandparents. We don't care where we came from anymore.
