I like the exposure of this shot and the faint light source in the back. Of course, I dig the lighting. :)

Um... Jude, photography is art. So, I really don't understand your meaning. As a photographer, I find it a bit insulting.

I love the contrast of light and dark in this photo. Especially since fluorescent usually gives off an ugly dead color.

It really angers me that they don't have the decency to actually put the patient's name on them. Sure, if they didn't know their names, I suppose a number is the only way to go. But, I'm sure they knew the names of some of these patients. They had to, even if it was a pseudonym, at least give them some sort of identity in death, not just a number.

Rad! I didn't think you'd take along heavy lighting equipment. ;)

Is the lighting natural or do you take along a bit of lighting equipment? The shadows and spotlighting are so gorgeous.

Did you convert your camera to an infrared? If so, were these the actual colors?

I recently got a Hoya R72 filter for my Canon 5D, but, of course, it can only do B&W infrared. I'm just wondering how I can get gorgeous infrared shots like this.

I like the weird rainbow effect the lens flare gave off in this shot. Also, the intricate woodwork of the ceiling is beautiful. It's sad to know this place no longer exists. Unfortunately, the US abandoning its architectural history in beautiful forgotten places like this.

About how long, on average are your IR shots? And do you use the standard Hoya R72 filter, or have you converted one of your cameras to strictly infrared?

I love the fact that the building is so steady and strong amidst the windy sky and fluttering leaves.
