Thank you for answering. It's good to see someone doing something more meaningful to preserve or extensive (and aging) historical entities. I wish you luck as there are PLENTY of buildings in the coal belt. As you obviously already know. I wish you could have gotten the scranton power plant before they ripped it out. I'm very happy you managed to get over to Ashley Huber, the send off for it wasn't the most ceremonial though. Its not about what or where its when. Thanks for your time,

Hi Joshua, thanks for the heads up! I've visited the West Mountain San back in 2005; it was in pretty rough shape back then. I only snapped a few photos as we were pressed for time... perhaps I'll return if I'm in the area once again and get some more substantial stuff.
Hello. I was wondering if you would be interested in checking the West Mountain Sanitarium. It's located on Scranton's (Pennsylvania) West Mountain neighborhood. It's off the beaten path and is very unknown by people. It's very good for photographs and other recreations. It burnt twice, but the childrens building is still very much intact. I highly recommend you view this location as, the remains and crumpling FAST. It was built in 1903 and closed in 1977, or so i believe. There is NO documentation on what the county or state intents to do with it, and it is very seculded. Being that it was a TB treatment center in its later life, it was featured in several ghost hunting shows and such. As i said: i highly recommend you to at least google it. I'm a huge fan of your website. Keep doing, what your doing! Thanks for your time,

Used to ride my bike, play and explore in that building. My Grandfather worked there and he would take me on walks all over that property.
I wonder how polluted that water in there is. Was this pond man-made, any kind of lining or anything?
