Awesome, a new gallery! Been a long time lurker, first time poster!

Thank you for this wonderful gallery, Motts! This was probably the most intriguing, if not unusual, places you've photographed. It's a shame that its condition now is worse off than it was when you were there 10 years ago, but at least we have these images for posterity.

I think it's the angle, Mica. If you look across the parapet to the window in the background, you can see how tall they are, and the windows that are perpendicular to that one are the same size. So, that would be quite the drop down from the terrace.

A new gallery! I obsessively check the site every day to see when a new one is posted, so imagine my glee when I saw there was one. :-)

Thanks to Motts, I learned a new word today — "crenelated." I always enjoy when I get some education with my entertainment.

The last word is "Thug," though I can't make out the first. I can make out an "s," "u," "h," and "z." I think the letter before the z is a g, but I don't know.

creepy...scary...horrific..hard to believe

I work on the old Manteno State Hospital Grounds, and the building I work at is fairly new and I close at nights late at night you see or things that aren't there it's kinda creepy but interesting me and friends are going to go exploring the grounds and area next week after work...wish us luck...
