How sad and heartbreaking. Whatever happened to the little children that used to live there. Where are they now?

My daughter attends Job corps and hears voices and noises regular in the dorms. She has recorded the voice of what sounds like an 11yr old boy. I'm very curious as to what went on in these buildings.

If anyone says that the people at the Ladd School had any quality care the only person they're fooling is themself. What happened at the Ladd School was atrocious and the group homes of Rhode Island are littered with the people held there. Most of these poor souls still have problems and nightmares from their experiences at Ladd.

And Lynne I've known people who have worked in neonatology for decades. They by all means have been using anesthesia on infants since before the 1980s. They just used a lot less of it than they do now. When that article says deep anesthesia they're referring to the now preferred high dose.
i went and say the ladd center today. the buildings were at one point in time well constructed, and its a shame what has happened there.

I believe it was located in a small alcove next to the large cemetery - http://g.co/maps/tp4hd
Can you tell me exactly where on the Ladd School property I can find the plaque? My brother lived and died there in the 1950's. I know the property but cannot find the plaque. denno431@hotmail.com

Interval bike on the tnarier this morning. Kept the intervals to 4 min. 8x4min/2rec. Gonna do the S&C WOD tomorrow AM. Played basketball after school competitively for the first time in a while. Skills were still there surprisingly. I guess that is the PE teacher in me. Mobility rest of night while watching “Wildcard” Wedensday.
Like the doors in Northampton(?) I think, but they had metal hoods with slits over the glass there.
