Wow. From the tumbnail, it looked as though this were some sort of architectural person; the angles of the walls form the shoulders, and the windows are eyes.
While going through the various site comments, I have been exposed to so many new words in the English language -- tutrels, derbies, etc. -- can't find them in Webster, though!!
Hi Mr. Motts great shot(s). I was wondering: did you ever try to take some pics with a film camera? I'd be curious to see if using film could make different colors or different sensations.
Congratulations for all your amazing and talented pictures, i really like them all and i think as u just said that there are no softwares to turn a bad picture into a great picture. Your brain and your eyes make the difference and the way you cut the scene when you are about to shot and you picture the result in your mind to imagine how the pic will come out.
Never stop doing this!
It was a high school seminary from 1961 until 1985 (when the enrollment was so low it was impossible to continue), after which it became a retreat center, mostly for youth retreats. The retreat center continued for only a few years. Salesians already run a very successful retreat center in West Haverstraw, NY.

What an amazing building! You're right Max. I think H.P. Lovecraft would have been inspired by this place. I'm really surprised I've never seen it in a horror movie. It would have been perfect! Great site, by the way! :-)
