Consider the patients today, what do they do with ALL the records of everyone? Both my parents are dead; surely they don't have any records from their doctors, hospitalizations, etc. I mean, how long do they hold on to those things? The 70's weren't THAT long ago; couldn't there be some relatives that are still surviving?

Actually, I just finished a book on Christopher Reeve and he talks about using one of these. They have to raise you gradually or you'll get light-headed from your blood pressure. Just like was just mentioned, he saud it was a relief to actually "stand" again.

Tom - Jesus Christ is often referred to as "The Lamb of God" because he was so peaceful. There is also the belief that when the Lamb lays with the Lion, there will be world peace and redemtion. The Lamb is a major icon for a few different things within the Christian lexicon; however, it almost always means the pure and innocent or, in this case, Jesus Christ.

To answer Tom's question, the Lamb here represents Jesus, He is referred to in the Bible as "The Lamb of God" and so in a place like this that is what the lamb represents.
Just so you know, the dove represents the holy spirit.
Hope that answers your question.

Cool Sara, I'm glad the world is getting more accepting. Some of these people are totally fine if they stay on their medication and the aids do seem super nice. Most of the caretakers around here are from Jamica and the other West Indian Islands, very nice people.
My aunts best friend is a nurse and she told me that the only time that she has ever seen anyone turn dangerously crazy is when they are either off their medication or have not been treated.
I heard once that it was considered shameful at one time to have someone with a mental problem in your family so many peopel were not given the help they needed. Isn't that sad?!
It's awful to think that someone could be cured of a disease but was denied the right to do so because of social codes. :-(

As for the secure bathroom. were it not secured people would escape. At Danvers we had two gys rip a fan that was installed in the bathroom window, out of the wall and escape theough the hole. Can't be too careful.
What a beautiful shot! Such details to the windows.
I had the feeling that the door had been waiting for me all this time. It stood open for me as an invitation, but my feet politely declined... as they RAN the hell away from it!

Im new to the site, but I used to live on Carter Rd and every day Id walk out the front door and there it was. Back in '95 the police and medical forensics dug several holes looking for clues or bodies.
