MUST GET OUT, FEEL ENTRAPPED!!!!
This ride used to be called Pompei after Pompei Italy where the volcano exploded. When I went as a kid back in 1987 it was always closed for reconstruction so I have never been on it first hand but you were suppose to be able to see the volcano explode

3 Alarms--

FOXBOROUGH, MA Jul 14) : Around 12:30 PM The Foxborough Fire Department received several phone calls reporting a fire at the former Foxborough State Hospital on Chestnut Street. The former hospital is in the process of being demolished, and construction crews were on scene. Three alarms were needed to control the fire. The heat hampered the firefighters and rehab areas were set up. Flying brands started a fire in an adjacent section of the hospital and was controlled by mutual aide crews. At the time of this article the fire is still under investigation.

This is a terrible sight we are looking at! But stay tuned as there is a original Pretzel dark ride from the 40's being restored and opening up at Wild Bills in Middletown Ct that is themed about clowns chasing you through this dark old circus frpm the early 1900's. Go to Laffinthedark.com to find out more. They're claiming it will also be the longest dark ride going besides being very scary and in your face!

The chair looks fairly resent, it is call a cardiac chair, because it was originally used for pts with cardiac disorders who could not lay flat.
