I took some film classes in college and was quite awful at it, so I suppose one could say I've taught myself once I started focusing on it during my own time, and with these abandoned buildings as subjects that inspire me to improve myself.

Hmm, it would definitely be a county morgue. The one that was probably the largest was stripped of all the steel and equipment, so I couldn't really tell how big it was. The next largest one would be an English morgue, which had about 30 or so drawers.

The largest psychiatric hospital morgue I've seen so far would be the 12 drawer one at Pilgrim State - http://www.opacity.us/image1384_morgue.htm

Just like surly girl said.

Actually a Penticle is the 5 pointed star with a circle around it. The Pentagram is just the 5 pointed star.

That has nothing to do with evil, satanism or devil worship.

The inverted Penticle or Pentagram IS a symbol of satanism.

Those of us who are Pagan or even neo Pagan don't believe in the concept of satan.

I been lurking for a few months and just got up the nerve to posting comments.

Beautiful work of art Mr.Motts.
I love this sight it creeps me out a little knowing what kind of people lived there. My hubby was a security guard and he worked there guarding the grounds he say's that there are ghots there and if you go down into the catacombs ypu might see shadows of something but there is no one there! I wish some one would get permishion to make a good harror movie there it's perficet.

I went into the park this past summer and this carousel building had collapsed. There was nothing left but a pile of splintered wood. That might be why it was taped off... it was ready to fall in on itself.

I'm with Tom, some of the power in the place (lights) may be on a timer. It could just be a security thing as well to make people think someone is still keeping an eye on the place, but who knows.
