Was it possible to go from the laundry (S-8) all the way under Southampton RD and get to W-7 by using the tunnels?

@ Adria: Thanks for the feedback. I too would like to see these buildings saved & reused. They must have been impressive in 1964. Given the fact these photos were taken in 2005, I wonder what the state & status of this facility is today.

Wow. The light beam is awesome. This room is almost trashed beyond recognition. Great picture.

I use to work in the old Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Dispensary. We autoclaved every night with one that was tiny compared to this monster. The heat & the pressure those things put out will put a hurting on ya real quick if you didn't know what you were doing.

Look beyond the graffiti & the tile is nice.

Beautiful. A lot of work & craftsmanship went into this room. Thanks Mr. Motts for preserving this in stunning photography. It's been said that when a building becomes devoid of people, it dies. No matter how much money you throw at it, it's going to die & decay.

If you sweep & mop that floor, it would shine like a new penny.

Just look at that woodwork. Think of all the people who scampered up & down those stairs over the years.
