Brilliant photos, shame the building has been allowed to fall into such a state. I worked there as a nurse in the seventies.
I am glad to see this old building is being restored I have look many times at the place when passing by, what will it be used for when restored

This is the photo on the opening page where I though this was going to be a 'church gallery'. Boy was I surprised, lol.

If this was considered NOT ornate, I'm at a loss for what would be considered to ornate. This is beautiful.

Beautiful. Must admit though, that when I saw the photo on the opening page, I thought it was a church. This photo looks more like someone's mansion or manor house.
Lovely Album this really is!
Love this picture. It´s like a fantasy! A little tree growing up on the tower is the bestest! Surreal.
Is there a tree up there growing high up on the tower above the clock? Cool!

Wonderful series of photos, beautiful evocation of structure and place...
Nature FTW! Yes, "A tree-on the roof-shot." Ahhh - i love it! And the square reflection on the left! Excellent! This building is thankful, you are showing its beauty. You are good!

Awwww.... I live 2 minutes away from this beautiful building.... shame it's being turned into flats, should have kept it as a hospital. my friend's mum used to work there when we were little and we used to walk up and meet her. Happy days.
I remember this hospital before the 2nd W.W., walking past it on the way to my home in Carlton Drive.
