Pity, I didn't think they gave anything away as far as location...and it was an interesting bit of info...
It's to bad this place is covered with desks, chairs and other large items. It's nice to see what it used to look like.

The "new" Worcester state hospital is to the left of photos of the clocktower. If you've ever driven around the campus- it's the building attached to the "neuro diagnostic" building. They house quite a few pt's- one floor dedicated to housing inmates that are being evaluated for psychiatric disorders/problems. It is not as large as others may think- a few floors are left unused. UMASS also operates an acute psych unit on the 8th floor.
Holy Cow! came back for another look at these pictures...... wow, there are so many posts! WTG Motts!

Flaming?

Maybe.

However, I must say that through all of these posts Lynne and Big Ed have remained consistant and steadfast in spite of the ignorance and accusations. They have defended their professions gallantly.
But mark my words dear people, "If you keep poking, even the sweetest dog will bite"

wish I would have known about this site before they demolished Whalom Park in Lunenburg, MA. The Park has been closed for many years and was home to many historical amusement rides. The "whip" was made by the original maker of this ride. The carousel also has huge history of which I'm unsure of, but I know they have left that one structure on the grounds.
