No sharp edges, nothing to kill yourself with/on, difficult to catch on fire, they can be peed on and wiped off easily, and (actually, Zebra) they ARE too damn difficult to pick up and hit anyone with. And if you did, you would have a hernia the same time you smacked someone else, so it would at least be a draw. :-)
Na, no ghosts, no such thing, but the building itself is magnifacent. Looking at it and knowing that so many lives passed there that were troubled in so many ways, the suffering, the pain. The beautiful building only gave them shelter and warmth. 1/3 of it, with a new interior, will still give warmth and shelter to people, but in a much happier invironment. There is one thing for certain; It will never be as magnifacent and beautiful as it was when Motts took these photos. See how some uncaring person has broken the window and window frame. So sad.
Can you imagine the noise from a plant that size in full operation? I did a job for a small stamping firm in southern Ontario, and just standing in the parking lot it sounded like an earthquake starting up! A rhythmic rumbling that you could physically feel coming up from the ground.
will, i would bet there are, given the location ,however they probably dont call it home for many reasons you cant get any money if your on the steets and you stay in a desolate area , plus they probably would have problems with gangs and such here.
i walk by these mansions everyday on my way to suffolk its really creepy. when i was taking summer classes i was curious about the borded up houses so on the way back to my house i thought i take a look. i road my bike into what felt like an abandond community, very creepy feeling. their was overgrowth everywhere. i felt like i was in a horror movie. i saw this winding road that i thought was the way out, as it turned it was just another house with a dead end. i could hardly see the driveway because it was covered leaves and i got so scared i road my bike as fast as i could the way i got in. on the way out i heard something, maybe it was a security guard. i just know one thing, i am never going back their again! not alone anyways.
I live across the street within a 100 yards of it, Its almost all blown up, and theyve started to fram what look like condos. I used to ride my dirtbike down there, now the woods are all flattened by a bulldozer
