Perhaps they just didn't do autopsies there. If most people died of what they were expected to die from all they would need is a small morgue to hold the bodies until other arrangements were made. I was recently in a small hospital with a very similar morgue.
Like a great monolith towering over flattened fields, the very forces of the earth seem to move in responce to this man-made square obstructing the sky in a comanding fashion... very nice photo, probably one of my favorites. keep up the great work, and have you ever thought of making prints of your photography?
