It's a beautiful door. I love the arch over the top and the pattern of the windows. The light coming in the room is lovely as is the view of the greenery outdoors.

The braces or splints are used to keep the foot straight, especially when sleeping. They are especially good for plantar fasciitis, a very painful foot condition.

I like all the different geometric patterns going on here. Hey kids, count the rectangles! Then the squares!

We drove down the rode and spotted the abandoned building and its majestic gate. My daughters and one of their friend and I, we were determined to find out what kind of building it used to be. I honestly felt drawn by the sight of it all. The half way stone ruins, of what seemed to be once a stone house; the great gate that I had to take pictures of. the tall tower, which now is missing the top that is on this site. The school which we soon will come to learn about its past. We drove inside of what seemed to be an active park. So we parked and observed many cars wich were driving in. They parked and came out with dogs. :) in the back of the building (the school) they have a doggy park, so my girls and I felt compelled to come out of the car and ask if this was private property o public. We were so happy to learn that it was open for the public and that soon, this place will be turn into the new Goshen Library. We ventured in the back, where there is a big pond, surrounded by plants. One has to wonder what kind of animal might be in the bushes. But around the lake, the girls ran for few good minutes, feeling the in-tamed beauty of summer. We took so many pictures! We loved it, I felt such peace sitting on the bench, watching the girls run and pretend they were exercising. well, it was time to head out. We went to the car and drove away. In our slow way out, we were peering in the distance, to see if we could make sense of the building, which looked abandoned, with most windows broken and a talk fence surrounding it. we just were taken with so much natural beauty around. I stopped the car in the middle of the driveway to take pictures of the halfway stone ruins, with the tall tower in front, which gave it the perfect picture look. I could not leave without taking that picture. I did few and I checked on the phone camera to see how some came out. when I decided to take few more shots, of the stone ruins, I looked down to set the camera back and when I was about to take the next shot, I saw this white figure that crossed from what seemed to be once a window, to the doorway. It was almost transparent, the profile shape a female appearance, wearing a white dress which it dragged its long 3 feet long tail on the ground, like a bridal's dress. She glided! she was not taking steps. This was scary. Worst of it all is that my girls saw her too. all at the same time. she woman disappeared about the corner of the inside of the house. After this, there were no more pictures of that. Then I just told the girls, We got to go. We drove out into the rode and out to the gate side we pulled in, where I was able to see the ruins closer. I don't know, it was fascinating and scary all at the same time. in the mean time, we were discussing the sight that we all saw, except my youngest daughter, who was not looking in the same direction that my daughter, her friend and I were looking at, all at the same time. We discussed what just happened and we all saw the same figure. That was shocking! Well, now at the gate, I needed to look at that ruins closer, I didn't know at the time I was able to walk up to the ruins and even go inside :p I wish I knew at the time, for I would have gone there and see what just spooked us. Well, by the gate we all came out of the car, except myyounsgest one, who was not afraid after hearing us all talking about some weird person figure, who just disappeared through the stone wall. From this angle we were able to appreciate the talk school building and I took several shot of it as well. When I noticed my oldest daughter with a fright face. She sais she saw a tall child's dark figure by one of the broken windows. the one right on top. in the center of the building, towards the left, just by a window. it was far, yet dark inside. I didn't see anything. But she was so shaken up that I apologized for even getting closer to this place to investigate the woman figure. She has never seeing any ghost in her life, until last year, fall of 2016. Well, most of all of us had a share. When we got home, we researched the place, only to find it was haunted. We learned about the few unfortunate, and sad deaths that happened here in the past, which made us feel sorry for those poor souls. Now we visit the place and give a prayer for any child who suffered in this school. Where they were suppose to be safe and cared for. Months have passed and we never saw anything again. I wish I did, but what I wonder, who was that lady in the long dress.

Good eye - although it seems like the original ceiling plaster followed the curve of the topmost arch, then met the wall at an angle, which explains why the wall plaster ends there. The metal lathe used to back the plaster along that curve can be seen hanging there.
