OMG ~ it always hurts me when I see people abuse, neglect or throw out books. Possibly because I'm a bookworm and writer but still. . . couldn't these have been donated to some place. After all there is information in these books, granted it is probably dated, but still it's history and give a picture of the mind set of the time

Halcyon Hall is definitely what everyone thinks of when they think of this campus. However, I would very much like to see pictures--even just external shots--of the other buildings, especially the Kettering Science Building that was completed just before the school closed and was this never used. The current development plan for that site calls for all but three buildings to be demolished, and so I would love to see what those others looked liked, even if they're not as 'charming' since they're not from the 1890's.

OK here is one for Jamie your uncle Scott and I used to steal the old red jeep after dark and go driving on the back roads ducking the very few state troopers who were around at the time. Also we used to go shooting in the field across from the main house where the horses were turned out, one day your uncle Scott and I were shooting frogs in the pond and I shot at a frog and got your uncles hand instead boy did I have some expaining to do to your grandfather about that. But I will tell you he just about the coolest adult I ever knew, used to call me Mickle always stuck with me , "such a great man"
