You know that the people who were put in this place were abused and chained up. I was watching a document on it and if a child was to bite someone more then twice all there teeth were taken out its a horrible discusting place.

Ive been here before and I can tell you it has an amazing energy around it, as if you can feel what the patients felt in there.

I used to go in that pool on my lunch brake in the early eighties, and sometimes on a Saturday.
It was a great place to work, what a shame it is now a ruin.

Does any one know Shary Harmon she went to Nursing School at Pilgrim

I had a friend named Shary Harmon who i lost contact with years ago, she went to Pilgrim State Nursing School back in the late 70's does any one know her? Also if this building is so dangerous why don't they tear it down, and build a new psych hospital, or revamp this one.

Usually I can read it off from the original high resolution photo.

Motts, how do you remember what certain signs say? Do you write it down, or do you take closer pictures?
