I live in the apartments they renovated this place into.
They made these into trash disposals, I believe.

St Elizabeth's is still around, however the abandoned areas are being renovated for use by Homeland Security. I managed to get inside the laundry building and powerhouse, but things were getting a little hot with security, so we had to jet before really trying for the Kirkbride. Wasn't really worth the instant felony for federal trespassing to me.

I find it so hard to believe i live fifteen minutes away from a place that only seems to exist in the movies i watch. It is very interesting but sad at the same time i just wish all the stories that people said on this would mesh because quite frankly they aren't mixing well. Sort of like orange juice and tooth paste. I wish someone just told me what really happened something that made all these stories go together.

I wouldn't mind living in the partially abandoned place either. Would make my life somewhat more interesting lol. Plus I imagine it would be like one of those hidden cheap spots; quite budget friendly for us college students :D
