HAVE LIVED HERE 46 YEARS...MANY FAMILY MEMBERS WORKED AT THE CENTER.. I HAVE BEEN IN THEIR WHILE IT WAS OPEN & CLOSED..REASON FOR THE PRESENT SECURITY IS THAT HOMELESS PEOPLE HAVE INHABITED THE BUILDINGS...THUS THE REPORTS OF SEEING POEPLE...NEXT THERE WERE POEPLE REPELLING FROM THE ROOF AND POSTING IT ON U-TUBE..VANDALISM ECT. IT IS NOT HAUNTED ITS JUST AN OLD BUILDING WHERE SOME HORRIBLE THINGS HAPPENED. IF YOUR INTO SCARING YOURSELF BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT...JUST STAY AWAY......I WILL BE WATCHING YOU!

It's not that Lynne is "long winded" or that "she dose not have a clue", she just takes the long road on the short trip. Hunny your information is just about 77-85% good it's that 15 -23% that has me concerned. Of corse you were not there like I was. I was there for 37.3 years. I remember everything....... well most of it. But on a serious note, if you want real fact answers I have them for you all and I don't need a soapbox to tell them either. Silent Hill Extreme!

Wow , can't believe all the hospital equipment going to waste in Philly or the rest of the US when there are so many people down there in the US that don't have access to health care. What's the matter with these city/hospital administrators. I guess they don't care they have health insurance. I wouldn't mind one of those hospital beds for my house either, their adjustable! Long live my American friends, I love you guys and gals!! ;) P.S. Just discovered this site and I love it, it's time for bed but I don't want to leave!!

These are not wine racks... they are "rollers" which hold the casts (barrels) of aging whiskey.

this is one of your great ones motts. you realy captured the older house desine in this shot. to put it simple.

The local tip ("refuse transfer station") has a sign like this, it's was in several thousands before they stopped using it, since it has never had an accident. Though maintenance always have terrible jobs, confined spaces and everything.

This takes me back to the castle I visted recently in New Zealand. They've restored most of it but they've put no effort into the spiral staircase to the tower so it's in a horrible state, with big chunks out of the central column. And those stairs are almost certainly smaller than they look, I had to take off my shoes to climb it and my shoulders almost touched either wall.

Reminds me of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R call of pripyat with the abandoned buildings and the forest growth and the sky.

A case of Bud and a couple of "HAPPY HOMES" doses on your tongue...Byberry was our hangout in the early 90's...especially the steam tunnels that hooked-up all the buildings...quickest entrance to the tunnels was through a door in the boiler room...jump through the hallway window and into the boiler room window.... escape point under the chapel and on the other side of Rt. 1, for when the cops arrived...and they always did...We actually had cops draw their guns on us!!! MAN we did some stupid shit back then....BLOOD!!! Whoever bleeds the most WINS!!!! Windows were punching bags that bit back.
