Cleaned Out

After a long hellish car ride, I had hoped this abandoned hospital would be a great find. Everything looked promising; it was old, sealed pretty well, un-vandalized, and I hadn't known anyone who has been inside. An active prison on the grounds and buildings that were still in use made getting in a bit of a daunting task...

The complex of buildings I saw were very cleaned out... it looked like everything had been auctioned off! Nothing was left, even in the basements. Still, the wards and day rooms were airy and unique, and the old wooden decor was interesting and in great shape. A steam tunnel with lights and heat still running looked like a bad idea... popping up in an active prison was not something I wanted to do!
