I am curious to know if I am the only one who has noticed there is a dark shadow of a figure standing right to the left of the window...Is that someone who was with you? Or did you even notice it was there?

I would give a great deal to come over and endulge in just a mere drink with you Pat and Wanderer.I can see it now as we finish a bbq with our families and go for a small drive to Bennett then toast the old Girl for the coming of age.So Gen Grant was drunk all day then Pat!!! I told my lovely wife that that was i wanted to go when i retired and for some stupid reason she wasnt too keen.I felt that she was being very selfish with the reply as her step dad was a alcoholic and used to be an ar**h***.Chins up my friends.

I adore this place. maybe cuz it was the first place I went to. but I love just sitting there. I noticed its extremely busy on sundays with people riding their bikes or taking evening jogs.

went there last night. definitely loved it a lot. it was getting dark and my friend was getting a strong feeling like someone was trying to get us out. So we left. Got lots of pics.

I would go again to look at wat we missed plus see it during the day when the sun isn't going down, but reading that the police patrol the building often makes me nervous...although idk if that's exactly true since I pulled right up with my car.....

This is a nice looking building & looks like it could be opened back up again tomorrow, as it still looks great from the outside. I agree with you, Motts, the copper roof is unique & to me, adds character to the place.

I'm surprised that someone who worked at this facility for 11 years, and claims to have been one of the "artists" doesn't know or remember that TA stands for Therapeutic Activities, and instead thinks it stands for "transcendental something."

Equally disturbing is that she seems to regard warm fuzzy treatment with disdain - which is a shame when someone is tasked with caring for those with developmental disabilities.

Both this hallway & the one you have labeled "Traverse" in this set are great, both are nice shots & must have been neat to walkthrough.

I was just up there yestrday and saw 2 wheelchairs right in the middle of the rds...you have a great website!!! I'm obsessed with abandoned places and I'm about to check out Foxboro.. U had said its renovated .. Havnt been in years.. Hopefully Rolling hills in the next couple weeks!!!
