I worked herw. I was just here a few days ago. There is a ghost here. He is harmless, he was a patient that worked in the powerplant. He died in an accident. No b.s. he waves to me all the time. He liked coffee so I leave him a hazelnut coffee from 7/11. He has never hurt me!

This is the turbine room. Hi pressure super heated steam came into this room. Spun a giant steam turbine that spun a huge electrical generator. What you don't see in this picture is huge windows and a huge roof vent. That allowed steam to escape in case of some kinda failer. Super heated steam will cook you in about 5 seconds.

Well Pat, if it means anything, if I was rich, or won the lottery, the first thing I'd do after.... a few life insurance policies *ahem I'd probably be hands on fixing this thing* is dump 100 Million Dollars into the rebuilding, asbestos removal, and restoration of any carving/design work.

Including the side project of the demolition of the expansions around her, I find them an architectural eyesore, and besides.. those buildings look in even worse shape in terms of foundation than Halcyon Hall.

Also I'd want to restore the original Dining Hall building at the end of the West Wing that was presumably demolished for expansion in the early 1900s. I think that general area is now the Auditorium. Improving it's fire safety... would be wise, so exact replication of the interior may not be ... wise.

and no matter what I wont let her fall back into this shape ever again, I'd have an insurance on her that will last 500 years if necessary, if electricity needs to be turned off, for whatever reason, the water will be drained and turned off beforehand! and there will be a fund to keep her in good shape while she is vacated.

That is my dream anyway... fell in love with her from the first picture, never fell in love with a building before until I saw it by random chance on reddit. She should probably have a photo on the Queen Anne Building wiki page. I'll see to it when I get the chance~

Is it weird that even though I've never been in this building that I know where this is exactly? lol I think i've been spending to much time trying to recreate it in a game... :S

Pookie, thank you again. I am happy for you that you have managed to find people from the place you were in here. I have yet to find anyone. If you look up the Isolation Hospital in Belleville NJ that is where I was. The Children's shelter was out back of the place. We ate and bathed in the hospital. If you are a movie buff I am told it is the place used as a backdrop for A Beautiful Mind.
My abusers were Hospital Staff and the kids they used as proxies.

It must be really weird to see pictures of the seclusion room that you were in and to go there as a visitor. I picture the seclusion rooms that I have been in, but never have seen photographs. I am not sure what that experience would be like.
