Still got on scale like that at our family home (an old 114 year-old cottage)...

You put the item on the board and hang up the device with the hook inside the ring you see above the red bricks.

Then you have to take as much weights made of steel (that are apparently missing here) as you need on the plank of the hooked device. The addition of these different weights give you the total weight of the item on the board.

Hope I explained it right. French is my mother language so.. :p

They're very cute signs with their delicate little arrows, not terribly industrial looking. I want to meet the guy that picked out that design.

That would be my take Dark-Star. The seal is for blast gases (from a furnace presumably) and seals being seals have a tendency to blow...

... so this penguin is having issues with his car so he takes it in for a service. While he's waiting he goes for a walk down to street and passes an ice-cream shop. It's a warm day so what the hell, he gets himself a tasty ice-cream for the walk back to the garage. He gets back and asks the Mechanic what the deal is. "Looks like you've blow a seal" the mechanic states. "Nah" says the penguin "it's just ice-cream".

It sounds to me like you are having a memory try to come out. It would not be weird of unusual for your mind to hide this from you .Could be he sexually abused you knowing you;d be gone soon.
There is also something else that gives a person the feeling of having an unwanted companion, that is DID. Look it up it is one of the effects that can result form childhood abuse.
I wouldn't worry about it as if it is an issue for you it will make itself known without you doing anything.
I'm betting my money on suppressed memory of this orderly sexually abusing you.

BTW I believe you. This particular forum is full of fellow travelers, you can feel safe with them. We're all in this together.
