I get tired of seeing this. I am comforted sort of by the knowledge that all of human history everything we have built ends this way. Sadly it is the nice looking places like this that usually go first.

My mother and her two sisters lived here from around 1926 to around 1933. I have pictures of them with other foster kids.

Thank you but that is not my work. I just thought you'd appreciate the work of another fan. I think that guy lives in the NY metro. If you look at the rest of his site it seems to be mainly the old institutions that failed in the last half of the 20th century.

I remember going to Rocky Point back in the day, the Haunted House was my favorite ride. Yes, I have ridden in the "Creature" car! Thank you for stirring up old memores from a better time.

this time it was different and don't know why but she seemed like an old tired lady -must compare old pics with new ones PWR probably sees the small crumblings more than I could but was glad the fence is close to the building so i was out front to get the pics

wanderer, how was she looking? I know sometime has passed since the photo here was taken, so, any big changes in her looks? How is she holding on as well, good or not so much? Sorry for the many questions, but as you said, a lot of us can't get to see her in person & we rely on you all that do get to see her, in person, for the info & stories about her.
