Some reseach on the web came up with this fact about the tower, The school used it to store candles and some students used it to sneak a smoke. A while back I found the door was pried open. Looked too rickedy for me to risk entering

Nothing so far. The plan is for some of the property to become a park with the mansion's foundation used as a formal garden. Originally, the school building was to be used as a new location for the village library. Alas, the building structure was found not to be engineered to meet the wieght stress of the stacks, and the water damage due to neglect of the structure was much worse than originally thought. It looks as if it too will meet the wrecking ball.

The town, owners of the property. Bear in mind ithad been neglected and unoccpied for 15 years. A large section of the front wall (buckling for years) gave way and collapsed. The structure had been evaluated as unsalvageable.
