Varied Climate

Took a trip all the way to Northampton to find out the clouds have moved in and obscured the moon... so we took another trip a few days later before the moon started waning. Luckily it was a crystal clear night, but the low summer moon and dense foliage prevented some really killer shots... so I will need to return in the winter!

It was great being up there, silently trudging through the damp weeds behind the fence, hearing nothing but the quiet night surrounding us. Fireflies were everywhere, I found myself constantly snapping my head around thinking one of the flashes of light was a reflection of a car or flashlight... but it was an incredible and surreal landscape of green lights dancing around the hulking mass of an abandoned asylum; I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
