Maybe it's from the porn shoot.....
Looks pretty old-the wood is rotting apart, and yeah, it does look like there is one of the metal crowns there.
Yes indeed! We use lockers in our locker rooms, for personal items, storing coats, purses, stethoscopes, etc.
No lefties here, son...they beat your hand with a ruler until you used your right hand..... ;)
The colors and the paint itself is so "intact" in this building, in light of the fact there is no roof in some places I'm just amazed in the preservation of the paint/paintings.
I have a tub just like that in my bathroom, yeah, they're comfy and deep but the legs can fall off, the sort of just slide on.
Same brickwork thats in the halls of my old junior high school...we'll be losing that building soon enough, too....
Were these in patient rooms? If so, they were the overbed lighting.
We have several of these little numbers in our hospital, one is for food, and the other 2 are labeled "clean" and "dirty", clean for equipment and even meds to be transported quickly, same with the dirty one, only it has used stuff on it.
Neo-I know it's a few years late in coming, but damm-props to you for your above rant! I've felt like saying this to patients (more like their families) for YEARS! (and some doctors too!!)
Thanks, Kelly. I've seen these in use at our rehab dept.
Doesn't look like a blood shaker to me, looks like a good old suction machine (aspirator)
Looks like a basket of vacuum tubes for phlebotomy (drawing blood for tests) and either a pipette or a culturette on top.
Andreika-the person who wore these most likely grew out of them, or hopefully, recovered enough to not need them anymore.
If you look at the ceiling, it appears that some of the tiles have rust around them, and at some point, there most likely was an operating table just below the light fixture...I'm sure the stain on the floor had something to do either with the rust as above or the mounting of the OR table to the floor. The little thing hanging down from the track looks to be an IV bag holder.
