Lynn, your post is most insightful and informative. Thank you for taking the time to educate. Ever think of becoming a politician? ( Meant in a positive way)
I'm disappointed...no one has mentioned the soap dispensers hanging from the ceiling (apparently they are too high for the little girl to reach to wash her dress....
Jeez, Lynne, I was so glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read your comment about the "whaling wall"!!!
Well, there would be a mattress on it. This is merely a non-electric hospital bed. You would manually wind the head or knees up with a handle at the bottom of the bed. It hasn't been all that long ago that a LOT of hospitals still had these beds.
Sounds like an episode from X-Files.....
I believe in laws and law enforcement, but honestly, what is it about this site that keeps patrols on constant duty? I mean, how BIG is the police department??
Well, I can tell you, I work on an ortho unit, and we just got brand spankin new beds with frames over them that hold trapezes for patients to assist in lifting themselves.
Looks like an old Gomco suction machine.
The bar designs are quite intricate, I thought the windows were some ornate stained glass!
I'm not sure how this speaks to the equipment in the hospital where I work, but this sort of wheelchair is quite common.
Yeah, but what if you were L Greene and accidentally got F Greene's toothbrush...aackkk!!
The two brushes in the middle of the left cabinet-see that's why I don't want my toothbrush in a communal cabinet...ewww.....!!!
Sort of a "land shark" but only on a wall...(thanks SNL)
Nice old Singer machine, looks like it might have been mounted in a cabinet once upon a time.
These chairs look like ones I used to have...so that's where they went when I got rid of them...
