I would love to work in a hospital like this. Modern hospitals lack so much character and humanity.
Maybe that mold has an affinity for the type of paint or surface on the columns. Just goes to show tile lasts like freakin' iron!
If that's black mold in there, well, that lung disease would be worse than TB.
I love old operating suites, the tile is awesome. Really goes to show that tile was most likely a lot cleaner than what we use today, even after all these years and being abandoned, it still looks clean!
Well, it looks like there is a curtain rod just for the shower stall, and the long rod may have been to "curtain off" or divide the space?
Was that just debris on the floor or was that fire remains?
Now THIS is the one I want for my wallpaper, it's perfect!
Alright, who took the soap dispensers??
I was thinking the same thing about the door, love to have that!
Very cool shot-love how nature reclaims...
Wow, new set! Thanks Mr. Motts sir, I was needing this about now.
Indeed, a wonderful treat on this Sunday afternoon. Thanks for all you do!
The history! Truly sites like this absolutely awe me-to touch one of these stones and know it was placed by another human 1,000 years before...
Wonderful shot!
And I believe the monastery was most likely built with, and on top of, pagan temple ruins, as many churches, monasteries, etc were.
Beautiful set.
