I saw ribs; beautiful, blue-tinges ribs.

Weird I had thought the post went through.
Anyway I found an aerial pic taken in the 1960's right about when I was in the Children's Shelter here. It shows the original 1905 hospital out behind the 1929 Y shaped building up on the hill. I'm pretty sure this hallway is in that old building. I was told when I was younger that it was the dorms for the nurses at the big hospital but there was also an old map on that site which showed the original hospital and that is what told me that "dorm" was actually the original 1905 hospital. It is gone now and Condos replaced it. The main 1929 hospital which leads off this gallery is being remodeled into condos as I type.
That old hospital is where the county had a Children's Shelter from the 50's until 1981.

I found an aerial picture of the place taken from behind the main hospital. Its on FB and it was posted years ago but for some reason in all my searches there it only came up for me today. Anyway there was also a picture of an old map showing the original 1905 hospital building and that is what the E shaped building was. The E faced the 1929 hospital building built on top of the hill. I'm not sure exactly what part of that E shaped building this is but I am pretty sure it is in there. The long leg of the E that connects the three arms looks like it was an afterthought to connect the three buildings in the picture but I think it was probably part of the original design.

I found an aerial photo on Anthony Buccino FB page. It is from behind the hill looking over the old buildings a lot of these photos are from. I also found out on that page that the E shaped building was actually the original 1905 Hospital. He posted an old map of the original hospital.

This is the link on google. The thumbnail was of the exterior of the hospital looking at the back of the Y on the right and the big square section on the left. There was a small area surrounded by orange rollout fencing i think it was a hole.

Oh well.
The pics were credited to Opacity, I just assumed you edited the two galleries at some point.

Hmm, not sure where those pics came from. Unfortunately I've lost the originals from some of these old sets, so this set is the only version I have.

Hey Mott's it would be great to see the pictures of the outside of the buildings that were out back shot from the direction of the Hospital if you have any. Maybe you can repost the pics of the outside of the hospital that google has archived and show up in some searches? I think it was called "Full Isolation Hospital Set'

Hi emy,
Not from what I've seen of that show. Imagine any movie that portrays people in hospital against their will but they do not belong there. That would be closer to how it was. You have to understand that the staff only did this to children they could get away with it on, as you can find good stories about people who were treated well in the Shelter and the Hospital online. I have deduced from my experience and what I have learned since investigating that the victims were children who had no one on the outside to protect them. That includes those who would have but couldn't. The trump card for it was that they used ECT and drugs to erase the memory of the torture and abuse from the children;'s minds. I expect any that have recalled bits and pieces probably think it is imagination or hallucination otherwise I would be able to find them online seeking me as I am them.
