Don't think it's for sterilization folks.Although alot
of it is missing,it looks like a furnace for burning
med waste.Saw one just like it at Lawrence Memorial hospital.It's where the incinerated amputated limbs,tumors,and other med waste.
Just my 2 cents.

I dont think its any sort of conduit or pipe bender.....this was a hospital...not a fabrication/metal factory. Why would they need a pipe bender in a hospital? It had to have been used for something else IMO. Its a great picture though! Kudos to whoever took it!

I wonder how many people died in that bed.....

mr. motts have you ever thought of shooting Taunton state hospital? it's the smaller of the kirkbrides in ma. and i believe it's still standing.just a thought

That would be the ceiling on the floor.
Paint chips, curling tile and paper.
The whole thing just gives you that whole chaotic feeling.
