Yeah the whole shot is missing too, in fact I noticed a few days ago some other panoramas have gone missing from the site. Bobo, Mica, were you using Chrome? this is what I use.
This is a beautiful shot Motts. I think this one deserves a wallpaper:)

Not even the goose knew you were there, otherwise yours might have been cooked, Motts.
This was really fascinating and it helped to see the videos of it in action. Awesome gallery Mr. Motts!
LOL @ bobo! Thanks for the good info Autoguy. And want to see your yard.
Its impressive even now that it isn't running. Just the fact that they figured all this stuff out and built it amazes me.
I can. Wonder why you can't. Got to drag the bar to see the whole thing...or is the whole photo missing for you guys? And for the third time I am not a robot lol.
Amazing that it can lift a full rail car, dump it and they had it engineered to return the car without help from a human. American ingenuity at its best.
Thanks for posting those videos. Makes it clear as day how that monster worked. Quite a piece of engineering! And thanks for the new gallery!
Hats off to you! I've shot that scene from the shore a number of times, but I never ventured out on the pier...from the looks of it, it could give at any minute. I do have a number of shots of the Staten Island Ferry in the drink. A very interesting place to shoot. Love the internals and the gears! Great job!
