I can't imagine trying to clean all of those little windows. That would drive me to the point of needing to be admitted!

that door would have to be locked after 5pm to keep the patients seperated from the outside world. doors would open at 9am, they go for some fresh air, etc. then round them up like cattle b4 5pm. locked in. goodnight. not much has changed with that policy in mental units today. i have been in a mental unit. for my stupidity in self harm. they will never be nice places to be in. and they dope you up to the nines so you dont cause trouble for them. sad really.
