The Shore Dinner Hall was an all you can eat place .....chowder ,clamcakes,corn on the cob,watermellon and....i'm not sure what else ...fish&chips?

The tub looks to have once been stuck up against that wall under the window. It was possibly moved after the fact.

this contraption and the metal rack just behind it on the rear left side are were used for blood transfusion. the glass bottles for the blood where put into this device in the front to shake it and prevent the blood from cloting.

here ( http://www.opacity.us/image3124.htm ) is a similar metal rack for a soap *oops* blood dispenser. ;-)
