another comment the mirrors look like that nightclub from another legendary 80's classic "Scarface"!!!!! where he's smoking a cigar and that goofy guy in costume is dancing. Say hello to my little friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looks like 80's era bathtub hotel sounds good you can almost hear the song from TOP GUN "you've lost that love and feeling" and "Take my breath Away". Great movie from a great era the 80's the 70's were half and half the Vietnam war was still going on and the other half the funky part. Groovy Baby!!!!!!!

The Book-Cadillac was a glorious hotel in its hey day!
The saddest part about that, if I remember my hometown street geography that is.. Is that the B-C was in a part of town that could have been restored and utilized rather than building a brand new eyesore near the "new" Comerica Park.

The one that is almost too far out of the "city" is the old Train Station. That building has been a favorite of mine since childhood.

*note to self* Next trip home, go to Tiger Stadium on Mich/Trumble
It is VERY real and VERY dangerous!
