SOUTH BUS.....NORTH BUS.....INTERLOCK.....PANEL 125; i love it!
Yes, Dark-Star; me too - always amaze and thinking HOW they all built this - and knew how it worked.
Astonishing fantastic Skills.
But those HUGE WINDOWS - so much light is wonderful, fine shot i love. Hues shades and tints all natural so soft.
And all those Lamps still high up there looking tiny as flyspecs - although we know they are not.....
.
Thanks to Google Earth Street View know exactly whare we are - cool too!
YAY! New Gallery, and in New Orleans; thank you so much Mr.M. How cool!
Great Approach - Google Earth has fine Street View;
there it is (basking in the Sun) with all that red brick, but does not look massive as there are wonderful details + lots of arches lifting to lightness.
Hello Everyone! Wanderer, I think StaxV8 was referring to the youtube video, "Bennett School for girls" posted by, " Exploring with Josh". That particular video is no longer available. It was a great vid. of Bennett. I wish it was still available. There is new youtube vid up now posted by "decay is headed your way", posted in 3 parts. I think it was filmed in 2013, the video is good quality but there seems to be some confusion about the age of different parts of the building, especially the "Tower building". It is a good second look not much that we have not seen though. Have a good summer everyone. I check back often. It was nice of Mr. Motts to answer my questions. I have to say it is nice he checks the boards. Anyone hear of any new plans?
I agree, they should be saved! Not sure where one would put them, maybe another vintage theater that is being saved, but these are too gorgeous to just leave to weather and rot away
