Rivets

When visiting cities, I take note of old smoke stacks on the horizon, and the twin stacks near downtown New Orleans were beckoning for a closer look. Inside, the massive space was a bit tagged up but still beautiful, with some old machinery and controls left behind. The gargantuan machinery beneath ground level was stained red with rust from standing water that had receded. On a quick return visit three years later, these areas were submerged once again.
