Hi. New to this site, and LOVE IT :-). I confess to asking this same question about the "stains of insanity" pic above, but the last post on this one was more recent, and also dealt with color. Does anyone know why these places only painted or tiled the bottom 3/4 of the walls, leaving the top white? Seems to be that way throughout the site...thanks.
Nonetheless, if someone really wants to hurt themselves, they can simply just smash their head into it over and over. Violent patients will do the unthinkable.
Hi, all. Just found this site a while ago, and, sickly, I LOVE IT. I've always been fascinated by old abandoned buildings, and admit I've been on here for hours over the past month or so. ? for ya. Does anyone know why they only painted (or tiled) the bottom 3/4 or so of the walls in these places and left the rest white? For the most part, it seems to be the case. .l
It is a blessing to have people like Lynne and others who take extraordinarily good care of patients. However, I feel sad for all the patients (past and present) who aren't so lucky and, unfortunately, end up under the care of sick and perverted employees. One can only imagine the humiliation and helplessness felt by some of these patients.
Yeah but this is the power plant, its unlikely there's any patient info in that office. Probably just a bunch of files dealing with energy consumption, bills, stuff like that.
Imagine though, years ago, some crusty old captain navigating through a nasty storm from that very bridge, bringing the ship safely home and thanking it for holding together...makes me feel all nostalgic. Tis what I get for listening to "the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" this morning.
