Ooooooooooo. . . it IS the dungeon!

What a wreck! Why do people let a place like this get so bad in the first place? A crying shame.

Oh my gosh! It's like the stairs into the deep, nasty, mildewey, dungeony hole of the black finger-eating monster. . .

Like looking out of a railway tunnel after and earthquake. Note the tracks.

Oh! Think of all the work that must've gone into building this place, all the time & energy & even creativity. It just makes me sick, I tell you!

Oh, dude, you're right! You can see the "k" between the top angel's halo & body! And their little bodies do kinda look like twinkies, don't they? Wow, I was just about ready to start looking for some deeply subversive subpsychological meaning to this, when all it really is is the work of a bunch of pot-heads with spraycans and the munchies for twinkies. . .

From the exterior (except for the boarded up windows) it almost looks like it could still be used, like it's just waiting for the next shift to arrive. I'm just discusted by the waste of its destruction.

I think this picture just shows how huge, how involved this campus was. Such a shame. So much work, so much history, all wasted because of the throw-away mentality of a dying society. . .

I was eating my dinner the first time I looked at this - the thought of all that mold almost made me . . . kaaaak. . . . kaaaak. . . . kaaaaa. . . .

Absolutely amazing. This photograph has exceptional line quality that draws the eye into the middle. Every line leads to this point. As well as llining up to be directly below the focal point. The blow out of light gives it a great compositional flow. The blacks and grays in the north and south of this extenuate the rest of the photograph. This is an example of simplicity meeting the standards between a snapshot and a photograph.

Absolutely beautiful in a...gothic, almost macabre sense... I love it!
